I didn't feel any pain. In fact, I didn't feel anything. My eyes remained closed in fear of what I'd see if they weren't.
"Mikey…" Gerard croaked. "Mikey, open your eyes…"
I shook my head firmly and held onto my brother tighter. Why were we still alive? What's happening?
